After the passing of his parents, The Beloved Prophet ﷺ was raised by his grandfather, Sayyiduna Abdul Muttalib رضی اللہ عنہ. Sayyiduna Abdul Muttalib رضی اللہ عنہ, the chief of Makkah, provided The Beloved Prophet ﷺ with a stable and nurturing environment. He loved his blessed grandson deeply and honored him greatly. He would keep him with himself at all times, seat him beside himself, feed him with himself, and he would put him to sleep by his side at night. In the courtyard of the Ka’bah, a special seat was placed for Sayyiduna Abdul Muttalib رضی اللہ عنہ to sit upon. Even influential dignitaries did not possess the courage to step on it, but when the Final Messenger of Allah ﷺ would come, he would move forward without hesitation to sit on the seat of his grandfather. The bond between grandfather and grandson was deep and enduring. When he ﷺ was eight years old, his grandfather also passed away.
After the passing of his grandfather, The Beloved Prophet ﷺ was taken under the care of his uncle, Abu Talib Regarding his blessed childhood, Abu talib said: 'I never saw that the Beloved Prophet ﷺ tell a lie, deceive anyone, cause harm to anyone, play with ill-mannered children, or speak in an inappropriate way. He was always of the best manners, with noble traits, exalted character, soft-spoken, extremely pious, and chaste to the highest degree.
