Translation

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Thawban رضي الله عنه that the Noble Prophet ﷺ said: “Indeed, when a Muslim visits his Muslim brother, he remains in a garden of Paradise until he returns.” It was asked: “O Messenger of Allah ﷺ! What is a garden of Paradise?” He ﷺ replied: “Picking its fruits.”

Narration

The Noble Prophet, the Merciful ﷺ used to personally visit the sick. As narrated by Sayyiduna Abdullah ibn Umar رضي الله عنه, when Ubadah ibn Samit رضي الله عنه fell ill, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked, 'Who among you will go to visit Ubadah ibn Samit?' Then he ﷺ stood up and we accompanied him; there were more than ten of us. Similarly, Sayyiduna Saad ibn Abi Waqqas رضي الله عنه said that when I fell ill in Makkah, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to visit me and placed his blessed hand on my forehead. Sayyiduna Usman رضي الله عنه said that when I was ill, the Merciful Prophet ﷺ came to visit me and said, 'I seek refuge for you in Allah, the One and Only, the Self-Sufficient.'
