صحیح بخاری (حدیث 2442)Sayyiduna Ibn Umar رضي الله عنهما reports that the Noble Prophet ﷺ said: A Muslim is the brother of another Muslim; he neither oppresses him nor hands him over to the oppressor. Whoever fulfills the need of his brother, Allah will fulfill his need. And whoever removes a hardship from a fellow Muslim, Allah will remove one of his hardships from the Day of Judgment. And whoever conceals the faults of a Muslim in this world, Allah will conceal his faults on the Day of Judgment.
Mufti Ahmad Yar Khan Naimi رحمۃ اللہ علیہ, in his commentary on the Hadith 'Whoever relieves a believer of a worldly affliction, Allah will relieve one of his afflictions on the Day of Judgment,' states: 'This means that if you relieve someone of a temporary worldly affliction, Allah will relieve you of a lasting affliction. If you provide comfort to a believer in this fleeting world, Allah will grant you eternal comfort in the Hereafter, for the reward of a good deed is another good deed.' Hazrat Sayyiduna Allama Mulla Ali Qari رحمۃ اللہ علیہ states: 'Even if a believer is a sinner, if you consider their faith and relieve them of any worldly affliction, no matter how small, Allah will relieve them of one of their afflictions on the Day of Judgment.' Sayyiduna Abdullah ibn Umar رضي الله عنه narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Among the creation of Allah are some people whom He has created to fulfill the needs of others. People seek help from them for their needs. Indeed, these are the ones who are safe from the torment.
