شمائل ترمذی (حدیث 186)Sayyiduna Anas رضي الله عنه said: I served the Holy Prophet ﷺ every type of drink in that bowl—water, nabidh, honey, milk, and so on.
A wooden bowl was in the hand of Sayyiduna Anas رضي الله عنه. He showed it to the people and said, 'With this bowl, I have given many kinds of sherbets and milk to the Holy Prophet ﷺ.' Meaning, this bowl is very blessed because the hands and lips of the Holy Prophet ﷺ have touched it many times. He showed this bowl to the people in Basra. This bowl remained with the descendants of Sayyiduna Anas رضي الله عنه as a blessing. It is known that the Companions رضي الله عنهم used to keep the utensils used by the Holy Prophet ﷺ with them for blessings and would show them to people. Those with insight understand the value of these things. Sayyiduna Kabsha had cut and kept the leather of the water skin from which the Holy Prophet ﷺ had drunk water. It is mentioned in the Masnavi that in the house of Sayyiduna Jabir, there was a cloth spread that the Beloved Prophet ﷺ had used to wipe his hands and face. When it became dirty, they would put it in the fire; the dirt would burn away, and the cloth would remain intact.
