حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ،قَالَ:سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ سَمُرَةَ،يَقُولُ : كَانَ رَسُولُ الله صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ضليع الْفَمِ، أَشْكَلَ الْعَيْنِ ، مَنْهُوسَ الْعَقِبِ۔
شمائل ترمزی (حدیث 08)Simak bin Harb said: I heard Sayyiduna Jabir bin Samurah رضي الله عنه say that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had a broad forehead, wide eyes with a reddish tinge, and his blessed heels were slim and delicate.
The blessed eyes of the Seal of the Prophets ﷺ were so captivating that a beholder would be captivated. In Tirmidhi Sharif, it is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali رضي الله عنه that the Last Prophet's ﷺ blessed eyes appeared to be naturally lined with kohl (even without applying it) and his eyelashes were thick and long. Sayyiduna Hind bin Abi Haleema رضي الله عنه says: The blessed eyebrows of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ were of a good size and had appropriate hair; neither too much nor too little, and from a distance, they appeared to be connected. What can be said about the power of his blessed eyes? Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas رضي الله عنه said: The Holy Prophet ﷺ could see at night as clearly as he could in the daytime.
