شمائل ترمذی، (حدیث 07)Sayyiduna Hasan رضي الله عنه said: I asked my maternal uncle, Hind bin Abi Halah, to describe the blessed appearance of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ… He said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ had a broad forehead…
Sayyiduna Saeed bin Musayyab رضي الله عنه reported that Sayyiduna Abu Huraira رضي الله عنه used to describe the Beloved Prophet's ﷺ noble forehead, saying: "His forehead was broad." This means the Noble Prophet's ﷺ forehead was neither too small nor too large, but broad and handsome. Umm al-Mu'minin Aisha رضي الله عنها once recited some poetry as well that praised the Noble forehead when she saw the blessed sweat on the Holy Prophet’s ﷺ noble forehead And so, in this regard, Allama Ibn Kathir narrates, Ummul Mu'mineen Aisha رضي الله عنها said that once, while I was spinning (on a spinning wheel), the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was sitting in front of me mending his shoes. There were drops of sweat on his blessed forehead from which rays of light were coming out. This beautiful sight stopped me from spinning. So I kept looking at him, and he ﷺ asked, 'What happened to you, Aisha?' I replied, 'There are drops of sweat on your blessed forehead that look like shining stars.' If Abu Kabir al-Hazali (a famous Arab poet) had seen you in this state, he would have believed that his poetry was referring to you when he said, 'When I look at his blessed face, the brightness of his cheeks appears like the crescent moon.' The poet of the Prophet, Hassan bin Thabit, described the beauty of the Noble Prophet's ﷺ radiant forehead in one of his poems, saying, متی یبد فی الداجی البھیم جبینه یلح مثل مصباح الدجی المتوقد “In the darkness of the night, the blessed forehead of the Beloved Prophet ﷺ shines like a bright lamp in the dark.” How fortunate are those of this Ummah who have been blessed with the opportunity to kiss the blessed forehead of the mercy of both worlds ﷺ. When the Beloved Prophet ﷺ passed away, Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddiq رضي الله عنه came to Sayyidatuna Aisha's رضي الله عنها room and found the Beloved Prophet ﷺ resting covered in a Yemeni cloth. Sayyiduna Abu Bakr رضي الله عنه uncovered the Beloved Prophet's ﷺ face and kissed his blessed forehead.
